Position Overview

Production Program Leader – Prototype & Development

Location: Flexible

Compensation: Approximately £55,000 based on qualifications

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 4 days on-site due to the operational demands of the position

Role Summary:

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Production Program Leader to spearhead the initial phases of our innovative manufacturing operations. You will guide a diverse manufacturing team that includes Engineering, Planning & Control, and Operations personnel to execute prototype and development initiatives within a dynamic and intricate setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated success in managing complex prototype and/or development initiatives as a skilled Operations or Program Leader.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Extensive experience in effectively engaging and influencing clients and suppliers, along with briefing senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix or cross-functional environment.
  • Project Oversight: Proficient in overseeing project scope, recognizing deviations, and negotiating modifications and their implications on the overall project.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of identifying risks and opportunity trends within cost, schedule, and quality metrics, and developing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Proactive Approach: A motivated individual who can prioritize and comprehend strategic business requirements while managing daily operational decisions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Self-Driven: High level of self-motivation and initiative, with the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
