We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Walsall. As a key member of our audit function, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors, leading audit engagements from planning to completion, and delivering high-quality audit files.

As a seasoned auditor, you will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients. You will also have previous supervisory experience and great people management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a portfolio of audit clients across various sectors.
  • Lead audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Deliver high-quality audit files.
  • Oversee workflow and delegate audit engagements.
  • Support junior team members with constructive mentorship.
  • Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
  • Be the go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for existing and potential clients.
  • Set an example for the team as a natural leader.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with at least three years' audit experience within practice.
  • Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
  • Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills.
  • A commercial mindset and enthusiasm to support business growth.
  • Committed to delivering the highest quality service.
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
