Key Responsibilities:- Enforce local laws and regulations to protect the environment and public health.
- Patrol designated areas to monitor and address environmental issues, such as litter, dog fouling, and other breaches.
- Investigate complaints and take action as necessary, including issuing Fixed Penalty Notices.
- Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution when required.
- Collaborate with other agencies, including the Police, to ensure effective enforcement and community engagement.
- Experience in enforcement work, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of environmental services, including cleansing and waste collection.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to deal with challenging situations.
- A competitive salary of £23,795.20 per annum.
- 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
