About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to guide our agile development team in delivering software products and platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing agile practices, removing impediments, tracking progress, and working cross-functionally to execute on project and product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate planning and execution of agile methodologies, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Mentor agile teams to deliver high-quality software following lean-agile principles, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to develop product/project roadmaps and release plans, aligning with business objectives.
  • Work with technical teams to design solutions, remove barriers, manage risks, and oversee coordination of development sprints, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Efficiently manage and process daily BAU tasks, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor agile processes, manage dependencies, and track velocity/productivity metrics, providing insights for process improvement.
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming activities, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Encourage continuous improvement by tuning the development process, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Identify and implement visibility measures for tracking team progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Communicate updates, priority shifts, and change impacts proactively to stakeholders, including customers/clients, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage project management tools – Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Proactively document projects and processes, ensuring knowledge and experience are passed throughout the department.
  • Ensure all development output achieves the desired quality level, QA'ing projects as required, upholding Zunoma's high standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with agile methodologies – Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc. Certified Scrum Master a bonus.
  • Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Technical background with a solid grasp of software development lifecycle, understanding the intricacies of software development.
  • Ability to proactively remove team impediments, identifying and addressing issues before they impact the team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment dealing with ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
