Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Key Person Specification Requirements:**

  • Minimum 2 years industry experience.
  • Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS, or CertEd) or working towards.
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
  • Degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent is desirable).
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
  • Up-to-date occupational experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check.

**About the Role:**

Cheshire College - South & West is seeking a skilled Computing and Cyber Security Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching a range of Computing courses, including A-Levels, BTECs, and T-Levels, specifically in Programming and Cyber Security/Networking.

**Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • Teach Computing courses to students, including A-Levels, BTECs, and T-Levels.
  • Develop and deliver curriculum materials, including lesson plans and assessments.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Undertake other duties, including tutorial support and associated administrative tasks.

**Person Specification:**

  • Minimum 2 years industry experience in Computing and Cyber Security.
