As part of the Architecture and Design division within the Chief Digital Office, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technology strategies that underpin our organizational architecture.
Your responsibilities will include close collaboration with both the Application Architecture and Cloud Architecture teams, as well as engaging with various stakeholders to influence technology strategies and designs effectively.
This role requires a strong leadership presence and will involve interaction with colleagues across different governmental departments.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with projects and partners to craft application architectures
- Provide strategic guidance and challenge to senior management
- Identify and articulate technical challenges
- Serve as the domain expert in gathering stakeholder insights
- Support governance initiatives and contribute to architectural frameworks
- Understand organizational and digital strategies to propose effective solutions
- Evaluate options and recommend optimal approaches
- Advocate for technology best practices and foster continuous improvement
- Produce necessary documentation and work alongside cybersecurity teams
- Assess technical proposals from vendors
- Engage in an agile team setting
- Share expertise and mentor colleagues
- Contribute to the establishment of an Application Architecture Practice
- Facilitate dialogue between technical and non-technical stakeholders
