About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Manager – IT to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies that align with our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Procurement Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that includes policy formulation, process improvement, and system enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted partner across the business, providing strategic insights and ensuring stakeholder alignment on procurement objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, leading cross-functional teams to deliver on key procurement projects.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Oversee supplier performance, ensuring compliance and fostering innovation and ethical sourcing within the supply chain.

  • Extensive experience in Procurement Category Management, particularly in IT, with a proven track record of strategic planning and project delivery.
