Tile Giant - Stiled Holdings Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our Ipswich store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving store sales, managing the store team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and motivate the store team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Deliver thorough inductions and ongoing learning opportunities for your team.
- Plan and execute merchandising, stock rotation, and effective stock management to control costs and minimize losses.
- Take ownership of the store's P&L, monitoring all controllable costs to ensure profitability.
- Manage profit margins, striving to achieve store targets and maximize turnover.
- Increase Average Transaction Value (ATV) by promoting add-on sales.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with team members.
- Plan and implement store displays, ensuring timely execution of new product launches.
- Collaborate with the team and Regional Operations Manager to drive store and business improvements.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and empower your team to achieve these goals.
- Build strong relationships with customers and local traders.
- Ensure that all Health & Safety records are up to date.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Plan and manage store productivity, including rota scheduling, holidays, absences, and cover as required.
- Act on all communications from head office.
**Requirements**
- Significant experience in the retail sector, either as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Passionate about improving performance, increasing sales, and delivering high standards of customer service.
- Capable of manual handling tasks up to 25kg.
- Independent, flexible, and eager to learn about our products and their applications.
- Available to work weekends.
