We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team at Streamline Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services for our Roofing and Cladding division.
About the Role
The Buyer will be responsible for:
- Procuring roofing materials and services to meet the needs of our clients.
- Ensuring purchases offer best value and quality.
- Monitoring and reporting of price increases and updating internal spreadsheets.
- Tracking orders and addressing any failed or late deliveries.
- Maintaining and developing the supply chain.
- Identifying new products and services to meet client needs.
- Processing purchase ledger records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Purchasing experience in roofing and cladding.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- £38,000 - £42,000 per annum.
- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 5:00 (office based).
- 20 days holidays + bank holidays.
- Parking on site.
- Pension scheme.
