Job Title: Roofing Buyer

About the Role:
Streamline Search is seeking a skilled Roofing Buyer to join our client's growing team. As a Roofing Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services according to the company's needs and demands for their Roofing and cladding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment.
• Ensuring purchases offer best value.
• Monitoring and reporting of price increases, updating internal spreadsheets.
• Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries.
• Arranging the return of non-conforming products.
• Maintaining and developing the supply chain.
• Identification of new products.
• Processing of purchase ledger records.

Requirements:
• Purchasing experience in roofing, cladding, or an aligned industry.
• Experience and/or education in procurement and inventory management.
• Working knowledge of computer programs for word processing, email, and spreadsheets.
• Able to read and interpret project drawings and specifications (preferred).
