Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Placement and Data Officer to join our team at Jal Care Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the administrative function of the referral process, developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships with our Local Authority partners.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and process all referrals and requests from Local Authorities, making decisions on the most suitable response based on the service user's needs.
  2. Complete all administrative tasks of the referrals procedure, including provision of expressions of interest to the placement teams.
  3. Monitor and chase all assessment documentation and liaise with the assessing social worker to ensure that the assessment is completed within the statutory guidelines.
  4. Build and maintain professional relationships with social workers and other significant service providers.
  5. Work collaboratively with the Director to carefully match service users with our homes according to their needs.
  6. Use own initiative to come up with creative solutions and work effectively within a team.
  7. Evidence administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes, and work well within a fast-paced team.
  8. Understand the organization's overall development goals.

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Previous proven experience of working with tenders.
  2. Relevant vocational qualification and/or experience of working in health or social care.
  3. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with Local Authorities.
  4. Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and data protection.
  5. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and be resilient.
  7. Car driver.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
  9. Good verbal and written communication.
  10. Ability to manage time effectively.
