Job Summary

The Directorate of Quality Governance at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team as Head of Risk Management and Assurance.

Main Duties

The post holder will be responsible for leading and promoting effective risk management and assurance across all areas of the organisation, in line with the Risk Management Strategy.

The post holder will provide subject matter expertise, particularly in relation to risk, with leadership skills to develop and drive performance, working with Senior Leaders and governance leads to demonstrate compliance with policies, guidelines and standards.

The post holder's portfolio will include policies, clinical guidelines and the implementation of CAS alerts, via the management of a small team.
