About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Anchor, a leading provider of care and housing for older people.

Job Purpose

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing dignified personal care, assisting with daily activities, and offering emotional support to our residents. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in conversations and activities that promote social interaction
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
