Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the construction team, you will oversee the operations of a significant new build project, ensuring that all site-based activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage long, mid, and short-term work schedules.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Assistant Site Managers.
- Evaluate method statements and risk assessments (RAMS) to ensure compliance and safety.
- Coordinate the logistics of material deliveries, waste management, and site organization.
- Implement quality control measures, including inspections and testing protocols.

The organization is a well-established regional office of a larger construction group, recognized for its successful delivery of both large and medium-scale construction and refurbishment projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and commercial enterprises.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a driven and proactive individual with exceptional technical, organizational, and communication skills. A proven history of working with a reputable main contractor is preferred. Experience in a live operational environment is advantageous, particularly in settings similar to healthcare facilities.

Applicants should ideally possess a background in trades, construction management, or engineering, with a keen eye for detail and quality finishes. Strong planning and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering projects accurately and on schedule.

A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is beneficial but not mandatory based on relevant experience.

Qualifications:
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are required.
