About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at ISS. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining our company's leading edge status within the industry and further enhancing our reputation with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned maintenance in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of our facilities and associated systems.
- Adhere to set engineering standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with maintenance and facilities management.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all maintenance-related issues and requests.
- Carry out technical surveys of our facilities and systems, reporting findings to the Critical Engineering Manager.
- Produce cost estimates for minor works required.
- Coordinate initial actions associated with client requests.
- Deal with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
- Undertake follow-up actions required to resolve situational circumstances.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar industry with multi-site locations.
- Knowledge of a wide range of building service systems and equipment.
- Sound electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Conversant with current health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
- 17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent.
- Electrical apprenticeship gained within the building maintenance industry.
- Experience with similar maintenance duties, including fault diagnosis and rectification.
- Experience in electrical installation work, testing, and inspection.
