  • Collaborate with senior team members to set and prioritize key objectives, leading workload to ensure both personal and team goals are met.
  • Consistently meet agreed performance targets and deadlines, providing accurate and timely management information to the Team Leader as needed.
  • Lead assigned projects and supply to other team projects as required, ensuring successful completion and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed client and broking documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and group policies.
  • Process slips, quotes, indications, and endorsements efficiently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and staying informed of regulatory and legal changes that impact the role.
  • Perform technical duties, including data entry, credit control, and follow-up on subjectivities, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on the company's systems at all times, responding promptly and appropriately to urgent issues as they arise.
  • Interpret and implement instructions and issues in line with company policies and procedures, building and maintaining positive relationships with Business Units and encouraging teamwork.
  • Handle incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and third parties, ensuring a professional and timely response, and handle client renewals and mid-term adjustments as required, delivering high-quality service.
  • Share valuable information that could benefit the Operating Entity or Group, remaining up-to-date with industry, legal, and regulatory developments to ensure high standards of practice and output.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Awareness and understanding of Xchanging systems.
  • Capable of undertaking and demonstrating competence in technical training as required by industry regulations.
  • Prior experience in insurance or a customer-facing environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well-documented work.
  • Ability to work optimally within a team and provide mentorship to less expert colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with team members and stakeholders.
