- Front of House Presence: Act as a visible representative of the hotel for guests and staff during your shift.
- Knowledge of Services: Stay informed about hotel offerings, including services, packages, and pricing.
- Effective Communication: Relay guest needs and feedback promptly to relevant departments to ensure satisfaction.
- Shift Duties: Follow designated procedures for early, middle, or late shifts, including guest account management.
- Check-Out Service: Prepare guest accounts for departure, ensuring a seamless check-out experience and assisting with luggage.
- Transaction Management: Handle all cash and card transactions with accuracy, adhering to established cash handling protocols.
- Telephone Etiquette: Manage incoming calls efficiently, providing accurate information and assistance to guests.
- Reservation Handling: Process accommodation and dining reservations with attention to detail, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Shift Handover: Provide a detailed handover to the next shift or Night Porter to ensure continuity of service.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of one year’s experience in hospitality or a customer-facing position.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early, middle, and late.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Articulate communication skills and a polished appearance.
- A full driving license is preferred.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, along with benefits such as:

Work hours will be scheduled over five days within a seven-day week, providing a balanced work-life experience.
