Our IT team works on bespoke in-house built systems that facilitate Decision Support and Front Office Process Automation, as well as control systems for core trading activities.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Front Office Delivery team. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Delivery Team Leads to deliver and manage Business As Usual (BAU) and project streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with IT and commercial functions to deliver business solutions.
- Manage project deliverables as a light Project Manager and Product Owner.
- Own problems, make fast decisions, and acquire new knowledge quickly.
- Manage technical teams, understand development life cycle risks, and have an appreciation for high-level architecture.
- Assist in new business onboarding and understanding the impact of business change.
- Manage product backlogs and define product visions.
Technical Requirements
- Experience in the development life cycle with bespoke software.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries.
- Comfortable in Excel.
Desirable Skills
- Motivated to acquire new knowledge.
- Highly motivated to complete projects and achieve positive outcomes for the business.
- A proactive individual able to handle multiple projects/work packages simultaneously.
Great if you also have
- Knowledge of the European Power and Gas commodity markets, including market fundamentals and trade instrument types.
- Energy trading lifecycle and activities.
What We Offer
