About the Role

We are seeking a skilled PSV/HGV Technician to join our Engineering team at Transport UK London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of buses and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electronic faults on our vehicles
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure our fleet is in good working condition
  • Record faults and work completed using a tablet-based system
  • Follow safety procedures and report any issues
Requirements
  • NVQ level 2 qualification in maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or equivalent international qualification)
  • OR at least five years' experience repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts with four days/nights on and four days/nights off
  • Good standard of Maths and English
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and service manuals
  • Knowledge of fleet management technical computer systems
  • Good team player with ability to work flexibly
