Responsibilities:

* Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
* Assisting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in their learning
* Helping to manage challenging behaviour and promoting positive social, emotional, and mental health development
* Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help
* Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

Requirements:

* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience working with students with ASC, SEMH, or other SEND Needs.

Working Conditions:

* Full-time hours
* Contract-based employment
* Work within an educational setting in Mitcham, Greater London

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
