We are seeking compassionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a supportive and nurturing environment for our residents, assisting them with their daily living needs and promoting their well-being.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents with diverse mental health needs.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers.

Desired Criteria:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Current and/or previous experience in a Mental Health support role within a Care Home environment.

Required Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a Mental Health Unit/Facility.
  • Empathetic, patient and compassionate in nature.
  • Understanding of types of mental health illnesses and the level of care residents will require.
  • Must be in good general medical health.
