Contract Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding and Welfare Officer to join our team on a contract basis until the Christmas Holidays. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with college safeguarding concerns and liaising with external agencies
- Ensuring all students have access to support where required and maintaining accurate safeguarding records
- Attending meetings for cared for children and providing support as needed
- Working closely with the police and social services to ensure the safety and well-being of our students
Requirements:
- An enhanced DBS check and registration on the child's barred list
- Experience working with young adults and a Level 3 Safeguarding Qualification
- Available to work on-site, full-time, and able to commit to the contract duration
- Experience working in the Further Education sector is an advantage
