We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our financial operations. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial transactions and ensuring timely collection of payments.

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:


• Keeping the Sales Ledger current by accurately recording customer receipts in multiple currencies and managing prompt settlement discounts.

• Overseeing the collection of overdue payments, adhering to established credit control procedures when necessary.

• Engaging with customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices.

• Preparing and executing Direct Debit collections from clients.

• Addressing invoice inquiries promptly to prevent overdue accounts.

• Conducting weekly meetings with various departments to ensure timely invoice payments and manage overdue accounts effectively.

• Generating and distributing aged debt reports internally and responding to requests for additional information.

• Assisting with accounts payable tasks, including vendor master maintenance and control checks.

• Maintaining accurate customer master data.

• Supporting customer risk management through the issuance of credit reports and facilitating the establishment of new customer credit limits.

• Monitoring and maintaining customer credit limits in accordance with internal processes.

• Providing monthly reports for the Credit Insurance Company as required.

• Offering support to Customers, Sales Managers, and Customer Services as needed.

• Reviewing held order lists daily and obtaining necessary approvals to release orders exceeding credit limits.

• Providing backup support for the department as required.

Essential skills for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:


• Proficient in Excel

• Knowledge of credit control processes is advantageous

• Familiarity with invoice processing

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively

• Problem-solving capabilities

• Understanding of audit processes
