About the Role:

New Pathways is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Independent Sexual Violence Adviser. As a key member of our ISVA team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to survivors of sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Offer a welcoming and non-judgmental environment to all service users, providing a safe and confidential space for them to share their experiences.
  • Administrative Tasks: Act as the first point of contact for the ISVA team, handling incoming and outgoing referrals, recording initial referral information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication and Liaison: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, New Pathways staff, and key stakeholders through various channels, including telephone and Microsoft Teams.
  • Resource Management: Research and collate information and resources for ISVA clients, ensuring they have access to the support and services they need.
  • General Duties: Perform general clerical tasks, including data cleansing, word processing, and ordering stationery and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Emotional Intelligence: Possess excellent emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize with clients and provide a supportive environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
