Fundraising Specialist

Harris Hill is partnering with a renowned charity that provides vital support to its community. We are seeking a skilled Fundraiser (Trusts and Foundations) to join their team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying charitable trusts that can provide financial support to the charity. They will prepare and submit applications to these trusts, maintaining accurate records of applications, grant receipts, and successful/failed submissions. Additionally, they will ensure timely thank-you notes are sent to trusts for their donations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a trust fundraising strategy to maximize potential giving from charitable trusts.
- Research and identify new charitable trusts to approach for funding.
- Prepare and submit applications to charitable trusts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain accurate records of applications, grant receipts, and successful/failed submissions.
- Ensure timely thank-you notes are sent to trusts for their donations.
- Proven experience in trust fundraising, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with charitable trusts.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
