We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead our fostering agencies in their region, promoting growth and excellence in care for children and young people.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in regulated children services, with experience in managing large teams and delivering budgets. They will be responsible for setting goals and targets for agency growth, performance, and profitability, while ensuring safeguarding and outcomes for children remain at the forefront.
This is a strategic leadership role, requiring collaboration with the Regional Director, Registered Managers, and Finance to develop and contribute to NFG's business plan. The Area Manager will be expected to demonstrate strong finance skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering agency and sector excellence.
About YouWe are looking for a results-driven professional with a proven track record in managing large teams and delivering budgets. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated children services, with a strong understanding of finance and leadership principles.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Master's level education or equivalent strategic and management skills
- Experience of leading and managing large teams
- Proven budgetary and finance skills
- Results-driven professional management experience
- Proven negotiation skills, ideally within the public sector and sales experience
