About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in all aspects of the college curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, enabling them to access the college curriculum and develop independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the Foundation/ main college team to develop individual programs and assess student progress.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student-centered learning and educational excellence.
Requirements
  • Level 2 Learner Support Certificate or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
  • Good standard of general education, including Maths and English at Level 2.
  • Alignment to our organisational values: Valuing Teamwork, Improving Continuously, Student Centred, Inclusive, Open and Caring, and Nurturing Education Excellence.
