Job Title: Research Assistant - Administrative Data

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to safeguard children by supporting the development of our Into the Light Global Index.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and extract administrative data sources across countries
  • Conduct research on the context of each data source
  • Assess data quality and generate insights into child sexual exploitation and abuse
  • Write up findings for the Into the Light Global Index

Requirements:

  • Experience of conducting research with administrative data
  • Proficiency in using R, Stata, SPSS or similar systems for data manipulation and analysis
  • Experience of working in a team and with diverse stakeholders
  • A passion for making a positive impact and preventing child sexual exploitation

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £32,982 to £38,205 per annum
  • A full-time, fixed-term contract until 30th April 2028
  • The opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute to a critical mission
