Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at Jobandtalent in Southampton, Millbrook. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely maneuvering forklifts in busy industrial environments, stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Stack and unstack goods onto shelves or pallets, ensuring accurate and efficient storage
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport, and vice versa
  • Regularly inspect forklift equipment for faults or damages, and report any issues to management
  • Ensure forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions, maintaining a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Warehouse Operative experience, with a focus on forklift operation and logistics
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on safety and accuracy
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands
