The Cornhill Macmillan Centre represents a collaborative effort between NHS Tayside and Macmillan Cancer Support, enhancing Specialist Palliative Care Services in the region.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified UK Registered Nurse to become part of the Specialist Palliative Care team as a Staff Nurse on a permanent basis. This role primarily involves working within the Day Services area, with the flexibility to assist in the In-Patient unit as necessary.
Ideal candidates will be first-level nurses, possessing evidence of clinical experience in palliative care and relevant post-registration education, ideally at degree level or equivalent.
Applicants must demonstrate the capability to deliver exceptional care to patients and families with complex palliative care needs. This position provides opportunities for professional growth and the enhancement of nursing skills within the realm of Specialist Palliative Care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, along with a positive approach to change and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
It is essential to be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week.
