Job Summary:

Taylor Root is seeking a highly skilled Senior Insurance Litigation Attorney to join our team in London. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in managing the firm's insurance arrangements and supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Arrangements: Assist in the renewal of the firm's insurance arrangements, including professional indemnity, management and employment practices liability, and cyber insurance. This will involve completing proposal forms, preparing presentations to insurers, and providing all necessary information to the firm's insurance brokers.
  • Claims Management: Manage all claims and potential claims against the firm, including investigating and responding to complaints.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist the Regulatory and Insurance team in London with the renewal of the London office insurances and global travel insurance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Prepare and/or update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Support: Provide general support to the Risk and Compliance team and the General Counsel.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience in litigation or managing claims in a law firm and/or insurance company.
  • Experience in insurance and an interest in professional indemnity claims.
