Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Package

Overview:
We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Site Manager to join Footprint Recruitment, overseeing a variety of new construction projects in the Lancaster area. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the site team to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards while achieving project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively motivate and support the site-based team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Area Build Manager to develop and adjust the master build programme according to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring methods and timelines are adhered to, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  • Oversee the management of equipment, staffing, and subcontractor needs for the site.
  • Address queries from trades and provide appropriate responses.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, aligning with company best practices.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and work with Group HR to identify and address staff development needs.
  • Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of direct reports.
