Job Description

Role Overview

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Specialist to provide tailored support to an EYFS pupil with high-functioning ASD. The successful candidate will work closely with the school's EYFS division to ensure the pupil receives the necessary assistance to thrive in their educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer one-to-one support to the pupil with high-functioning ASD, focusing on verbal communication and behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with the school's EYFS team to develop and implement strategies to support the pupil's needs.
  • Provide assistance with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Communicate effectively with the pupil, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive support system.

Requirements

  • Experience in supporting individuals with ASD, either personally or professionally.
  • Possession of an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • Availability to work on Thursdays and Fridays.

Role Information
