Save the Children is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Protection Program Manager to lead our Child Protection and Mental Health Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) program in Ukraine.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Management: Oversee the implementation of the Child Protection and MHPSS program, ensuring that all activities are aligned with Save the Children's strategic objectives and meet the needs of vulnerable children and families in Ukraine.
- Capacity Building and Organizational Learning: Identify gaps and priorities for technical advisors to foster ongoing learning and capacity building for staff and partners, including working on a structured capacity strengthening plan.
- Representation, Advocacy, and Coordination: Represent Save the Children in relevant coordination meetings and meetings with government ministries and other national and international partners.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Submit activity trackers on a monthly basis to the Monitoring and Evaluation department and ensure that timely communication takes place on start-up of activities to support MEAL planning cycles.
- Master's degree: In social work, human rights, law, international relations, development studies, or a similar field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in project management and/or development programming in emergency contexts, preferably in Ukraine.
- Skills: Proven experience in child protection and MHPSS, excellent planning, management, and coordination skills, ability to identify main gaps in child protection and MHPSS, and sound knowledge of inter-agency standards and guidelines in child protection and MHPSS.
