Position Overview

We are excited to present a unique opportunity within our Employer Outreach Team at Arvato, focusing on the Department for Education's Apprenticeships and Skills initiatives.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Department for Education by initiating contact with businesses through outbound communications. Your outreach will revolve around various educational products tailored to meet the needs of employers, including T Levels, Industry Placements, and Apprenticeships.

Your primary objective will be to inform businesses about the diverse schemes available and motivate them to consider these valuable options. You will emphasize the advantages of high-quality apprenticeships and industry placement programs.

Our operational hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM, with the team working from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility in working hours may be required to support various campaign initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for the uptake of high-quality apprenticeships and industry placements, aligning with performance targets while providing clear guidance on funding opportunities.
  • Engage with key decision-makers in businesses to communicate the benefits of apprenticeships and industry placements, delivering essential strategic information.
  • Carry out administrative tasks and ensure accurate data entry in relevant IT systems.
  • Offer strategic skills support to organizations by updating them on significant policy changes.
  • Maintain established quality standards and adhere to best practices consistently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 education, including qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Proven experience in customer interaction via telephone.
  • Strong telephone etiquette with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective listening skills and the ability to engage with employers and training providers in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in IT, with strong keyboard skills and familiarity with various commercial software applications, such as Microsoft Office.
