We are currently seeking a highly skilled Process Development Chemist to join our team at Rowland Talent Solutions Limited.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for working on small-scale process development and scale-up of fine chemicals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting small-scale process development of chemicals to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Providing technical support to projects in scale-up from laboratory scale through to production, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate documentation for research, development, and scale-up projects, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Research, Production, and Quality Control, to drive business growth and excellence.

Ideal candidates will possess:

A degree or Master's (MChem, MSc, MSci) in Chemistry, with a strong background in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and a completed project or dissertation.

Previous experience in a chemistry lab, particularly in distillation processes, is highly desirable.
