Reception Class Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join our team at a Primary School in Enfield. As a Reception Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of your students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom resources and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and have recent experience as a Reception Class Teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and ability to adapt to individual student needs.
  • Excellent classroom and behavior management skills.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
