Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Audit Senior to lead our accounting team and oversee comprehensive audit processes at Michael Page. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of audit procedures, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the business.

About the Role

  • Oversee and manage comprehensive audit processes for a leading professional services firm.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of junior auditors to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.
  • Experience managing audits across Owner Managed Businesses, including financial statement audits and internal control reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business, including clients, management, and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including financial reporting and auditing standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular communication and progress updates.
  • Continuously improve audit methodologies and practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management, including financial statements and audit findings.
  • Participate in business development initiatives to identify new business opportunities and grow the audit practice.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Proficiency in audit software and databases, including financial statement analysis and audit planning tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to motivate and develop a team of junior auditors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and address audit risks and issues.
  • High integrity and professionalism, including a strong commitment to ethics and compliance.
