Role Overview:
As a Night Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in improving the quality of life for individuals. Your main duty will be to assist individuals in their homes, ensuring they receive the essential support to maintain independence and lead meaningful lives. You will focus on fostering strong, supportive relationships with those you assist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing overnight support to individuals with their care requirements.
  • Delivering personal care and assistance with daily living activities as needed.
  • Utilizing British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate effectively with individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Following all care plans, guidelines, and protocols diligently.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) - a minimum of BSL Level 2 is preferred.
  • Exhibiting compassion and empathy towards individuals with disabilities.
  • Possessing strong communication skills, both in BSL and written/verbal English.
  • Being open to comprehensive training and development tailored to the support needs of the individuals you will assist.
