Pharmacy Analyst

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their Medicines Governance Team as a Pharmacy Analyst.

  • Fixed Term Contract/Secondment - Maternity Leave Cover
  • Full time (37 hours/week)
  • Hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future

The successful candidate will support the Health and Justice Pharmacy and Independent Healthcare programmes to achieve their key deliverables. The post-holder will lead the collaboration on, and development of national advice and operational guidance to support the use of medicines within Health and Justice Pharmacy and Independent Healthcare settings.

  • Lead a team and work collaboratively across organisational boundaries
  • Establish robust and consistent methods and processes to support the delivery of the programmes
  • Work effectively with colleagues to strict deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience as a clinical pharmacist
  • Knowledge of medicines legislation and NHS Scotland medicines governance policy and processes

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and innovative, with the ability to prioritise work and work well within teams against a background of change and uncertainty.
