Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at SCR Recruitment Services Careers.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the well-being and safety of our service users, promoting their emotional and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to young people, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in on-call rotas, providing 24/7 support to our service users.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Current DBS on the Update Service
  • 1 year plus experience within Social Care
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach, with a calm and patient demeanor.
