Position Overview:

The Solutions Architect role is a senior position within the ERP Solutions Practice, responsible for designing and implementing SAP-based solutions tailored to our clients' needs. You will collaborate with program management and delivery teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with technical specifications and the IT strategies of both NTT DATA and our clients, ultimately delivering the desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients and NTT DATA's sales, business development, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions utilizing appropriate SAP products, proposing a comprehensive solution architecture.
  • Facilitate integrated workshops at the Director level, ensuring detailed and complex discussions are effectively managed.
  • Conduct roadmap sessions with clients, clarifying the journey to maximize value from their SAP solution platform throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and recommend technologies, architecting solution strategies that meet customer expectations while collaborating with NTT DATA's program management and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide thought leadership by participating in industry forums, conducting seminars, and engaging in marketing activities to promote SAP technologies and solutions.
  • Serve as the design authority on projects where your expertise is critical, generating consulting revenue through these activities.
  • Act as a primary problem solver, reviewing and defining architectures across multiple complex customer projects, ensuring quality assurance in various engagements.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of new technologies, sharing knowledge to enhance business processes and develop others.
  • Recognize opportunities for repeat business and contribute to NTT DATA's growth by identifying customer needs and potential IP opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Demonstrated technical expertise and experience with various SAP software products, particularly in SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules (both On-premise and Cloud).

Familiarity with SCM products such as EWM or TM is highly desirable, along with knowledge of SAP Cloud solutions like Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

A proven track record of delivering customer projects and resolving complex architectural challenges.

Experience in defining future supply chain models aligned with customer requirements.

Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, becoming a trusted advisor in your area of expertise.

Demonstrates integrity and the ability to navigate unforeseen challenges while maintaining focus on business objectives.

A commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge effectively.

Personal Profile/Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess at least 15 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 6 years in an SAP consulting environment. Experience with value-added resellers or software houses is advantageous.

Proven experience in solution design and architecture, successfully completing at least 8 full project lifecycles.

A minimum of 3 successful full lifecycle projects as a solution architect, particularly in large enterprise or multi-country deployments.

Adept at leading cross-functional teams, fostering strong business relationships, and managing complex SAP projects to deliver value to clients.
