We are seeking a bright, organized, and hard-working Communications and Partnerships Specialist to support our communications, event management, and partnerships efforts in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and execute in-person and virtual Tent UK events, including coalition meetings and initiative launches.
  • Research and pitch speaking opportunities for the Director of Tent UK, providing support in the lead-up to events by drafting speaking points and liaising with event organizers.
  • Copy edit and proof written content, including press releases, social media copy, and marketing materials.
  • Support the execution of communications activities, including press campaigns and launches, as well as ongoing activities such as drafting press releases, media relations, and social content development.
  • Provide operational support to Tent's mentorship programs in the UK, including helping address queries from program participants and participating referral partners.
  • Maintain relationships with Tent UK's network of referral partners for mentorship initiatives and support mentee recruitment as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Between 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working in a communications environment, either agency-side or in-house
  • Experience writing press materials and social content
  • Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
  • Strong, proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and video conferencing tools

  • Willingness and ability to travel from time to time within and outside the UK
