Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ECG Technician to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ECGs throughout the Trust wards, clinics, A & E, and other departments. They will also be required to participate in cardiac monitoring during clinical procedures and basic spirometry and Peak Flows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ECGs in various departments, including wards, clinics, and A & E
  • Participate in cardiac monitoring during clinical procedures, such as cardioversions and carotid sinus massage
  • Conduct basic spirometry and Peak Flows
  • Actively participate in cardiac arrests
  • Participate in audit collection
Person Specification
  • Proficient in using ultrasound equipment for echocardiograms
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to cardiology and ECG interpretation
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret ECG results
