Job Title: Automation Technician

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join their team at their facility based near Crewe.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly technical individual with experience in electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production systems.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems.
  • Maintain records of automated systems.
  • Develop and implement modifications to automated systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
  • Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of industrial processes and be able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
