We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Service Children's Champion. This exciting opportunity is part of a grant-funded initiative, and you will be based out of Ysgol Golwg Pen y Fan, supporting Service children and families across several schools in the Brecon Cluster.
As a Service Children's Champion, you will play a vital role in providing personalised support to Service children, including:
- Raising awareness of Service children's needs
- Building relationships and undertaking collaborative activities
- Providing additional learning needs support
- Targeted support for Service children as they transition in/out of our schools
You will be an advocate for Service children, supporting them as they transition, grow, and develop during their time with us. This role will also involve liaising with Armed Forces agencies, both local and national, to ensure a collaborative partnership to support the needs of Service children.
You will work closely with staff, parents, and other stakeholders, and be under the supervision of a member of the senior leadership team. If you are passionate about supporting Service children and families, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
Please note that this position requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
