About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Tax Manager to join our client's Private Client team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) trusts, estates, and beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with partners and directors to deliver trusts and estates advice to a HNW client base.
- Supervise a team of junior advisers to ensure the annual tax and accounts compliance processes are completed effectively.
- Contribute to interesting one-off trust advisory projects, particularly relating to the mitigation of Inheritance Tax (IHT).
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, liaising closely with trustees, HMRC, and third-party advisers.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust tax management, ideally with the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACA), or Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification. You will be an experienced professional seeking a new challenge with a reputable firm that values career development.
