About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care, a leading provider of health and social care services in the UK.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to adults with mental health needs, with a focus on rehabilitation and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to support service users in achieving their goals
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify service users' needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and training to service users, families, and staff on occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with adults with mental health needs, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices, including assessment and intervention techniques
