Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build Strong Business Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the management team for your business area, providing trusted advice and support.
  2. Deliver High-Quality Analysis: Provide best-in-class analysis, reporting, insight, and financial mentorship to support business decisions.
  3. Commercial Deal Analysis: Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals/business cases.
  4. Financial Planning: Develop and deliver accurate financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and strategic long-range plans.
  5. Results Interpretation: Interpret and drive action from monthly results, working closely with our Shared Service Centre who prepare our management accounts.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and manage risks and opportunities for your business area, ensuring numbers are clearly understood.
  7. Team Development: Mentor and coach junior members of the finance team, including graduates.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  2. Track Record: A track record of delivery and ambition in your career to date, with a desire to develop further.
  3. Industry Experience: Ability to demonstrate the following from within either industry or practice: ability to work at pace, strong eye for detail, and deep knowledge of numbers.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills (Microsoft Excel), experience of preparing analysis, delivering insight, and turning this into recommendations that benefit the business.
  5. Communication Skills: Good communication skills through business partnering or client relationship management.
