Job Overview

1st Choice Staff Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing service and corrective tasks across various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance on industrial installations.
  • Perform occasional repairs and parts replacements as necessary.
  • Complete online service reports detailing finished work and recommendations for future tasks.
  • Submit post-visit service reports through our digital systems.
  • Work independently or collaboratively with a partner.
  • Engage in daily travel, with the potential for extended stays away from home.
  • Occasional international assignments may be required.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will need to obtain security/DBS clearance promptly. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance of industrial doors is essential. Additional qualifications that are advantageous include:

  • Background in lift engineering or overhead crane engineering.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings.
  • Possession of 18th Edition electrical qualifications.
  • IPAF/DHF training.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
